Bhubaneswar: Following instructions of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (OAV) has started functioning in Kotia Gram Panchayat from the current academic session.
A total of 59 students have taken admission in class VI. While teaching and learning have started, one hostel building has been completed in all respects. Free bus service for the students was started today.
The school has brought new hopes and aspirations for the people of Kotia as it will impart high-quality education. Intelligentsia with people, in general, have expressed their thanks for the State government.
It may be pertinent to mention here that Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra during his recent visit to Kotia in mid-April of the current year reviewed the progress of the construction of OAV, and had fixed timelines for its completion and commissioning.
