Bhubaneswar: The students of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas (OAVs)have performed very well in the JEE Mains. This was revealed after the result of the entrance was published on Tuesday.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed happiness over the performance of the OAV students in JEE Mains.
The CM stated: “Congratulations to Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan and its students on their remarkable achievement in JEE (Mains).”
While 35 students scored more than 80 percentile, 14 students scored 90+ percentile. “Odisha’s mission to empower every child with the power of education is bearing fruit,” Naveen added.
The Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (OAV) scheme is the brain-child of the Odisha CM for quality English medium CBSE Schools at each block of the State, thus enhancing educational standards across Odisha.
Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) is the statutory body to establish, operate and manage 314 Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas. OAVS was established on September 19, 2015 under Societies Registration Act 1860.
