Bhubaneswar: Odisha achieved a major milestone in COVID-19 vaccination of Thursday by crossing 1.50 crore mark, in terms of number of doses administered.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said this is a significant milestone and a testimony to the commitment and hard work of healthcare workers of Odisha.
“Crossing a significant milestone in COVID-19 vaccination, Odisha has administered 1.50 crore vaccine doses including vaccination of frontline warriors. Commend the hard work & commitment of our healthcare workers in ensuring a swift inoculation to save precious lives,” the CM tweeted.
As per the figures available on CO-WIN, Odisha has administered 1,50,99,766 doses of COVID vaccines till July 22. Out of this, 1.16 crore are the first dose, while around 35 lakh are second dose of the COVID jab.
At present, there are 1,200 sites conducting vaccination in 30 districts out of which, a majority, 1,175 are Government centres.
