Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government has allowed the citizens of the State to unfurl the National Flag at their home premises on Republic Day 2022.
As per an order issued by the Office of the Special Relief Commissioner, the citizens can unfurl the National Flag on January 26 without much crowd.
Preferably not more than five persons shall congregate and all Covid-19 safety protocols, such as social distancing, wearing masks, proper sanitisation, etc. shall be duly followed.
However, in other public or private institutions, clubs, and similar places, such celebration shall be allowed with not more than 10 persons attending in strict compliance to Covid-19 appropriate behaviour.
All Covid appropriate behaviour such as social and physical distancing, use of face masks, and hand hygiene shall be followed by one and all during the celebration, the order added.
