Bhubaneswar: In a significant move, the State government has announced that out of 1984 TGT(Arts) posts, 496 posts have been reserved specifically for TGT(Odia) with the same pay scale as TGT(Arts).
A notification issued by the School and Mass Education Department stated that the TGT (Odia) post will be a sub-category of TGT(Arts), and the selected candidates will receive the same pay scale as their TGT(Arts) counterparts.
The move is expected to promote the Odia language and provide opportunities for candidates proficient in Odia.
