Bhubaneswar: The winter session of the Odisha assembly was adjourned sine die, 26 days ahead of schedule.
The Assembly session, which commenced on November 21, was scheduled to continue till December 30.
Only after four days, the House adjourned sine die by Speaker Pramila Mallik, citing no oficial business.
The House witnessed repeated adjournments during the four days transaction over Tribal land transfer issue.
Government chief whip Prasant Muduli said all the official bills and private members bills were discussed. There was nothing more to be discussed. Moreover, members are busy in their respective areas. So, the Assembly was adjourned sine die.
