Odisha Assembly: Demands For Revenue & Disaster Management, Excise Moved By Ministers For Nod
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Revenue & Disaster Management Minister and Excise Minister today moved separately their demands for their respective Departments seeking seal of approval of the House during the ongoing Budget Session.
As per the List of Business slated for the day, Revenue & Disaster Management Minister Sudam Marandi moved that “the Assembly do assent to a demand which will come in course of payment during the year ending 31st March 2020 of such sum as together with the expenditure already authorized in the Vote-on-Account will amount to Rs 1158,93,31,000 in respect of Expenditure relating to the Revenue and Disaster Management Department. This appropriation has the recommendation of the Governor.”
Similarly, Excise Minister Niranjan Pujari moved that “the Assembly do assent to a demand which will come in course of payment during the year ending the 31st March, 2020 of such sum as together with the expenditure already authorized in the Vote-on-Account will amount to Rs 131,24,74,000 in respect of Expenditure relating to the Excise Department. This appropriation has the recommendation of the Governor.”
