Bhubaneswar: The Winter Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly begins today and will continue till December 31. The session will have 30 working days – 25 days for official business and five days for private members’ business.
The Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will present a supplementary budget on the first day of the 30 working days. On the other hand, Opposition members are ready to challenge the government on various issues, including rising incidents of crime, Adani bribe scam, corruption and deaths due to mango kernel consumption.
The ruling BJP is ready to counter the issues of the opposition and has prepared a list of the state government’s achievements during the five months in power.
At the same time, the ruling party has also planned to counter the Opposition by opening a list of corruptions committed during the BJD government in the past 24 years.
