**Bhubaneswar:** Odisha having completed its eightieth statehood this year (since April 1, 1936) and going to be a centenarian in 2036, the State Government on Friday began cogitating on its Vision Document-2036 addressed by Odisha Skill Development Authority (OSDA) chairman Subroto Bagchi at the State Secretariat here.
Soon after the important session of the State bureaucrats, Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi briefed media, “This year our State has completed 80 years of its statehood while in 2036 we’re going to complete the century. We’re now exercising at a vision for Odisha in 2036. For that purpose we held a preliminary discussion today. Chairman OSDA had kindly agreed to address all of us. He has imparted certain ideas. This is a preliminary discussion only. Over the next two or three months, we hope we could be able to draft a Vision Document for Odisha 2036.”
On being queried by media if there was any specific discussion, the Chief Secretary informed, “We didn’t discuss any specific sector. Next will be the session on strategy. After 15 days we’ll be working on a few things and then we’ll be actually working on what is to be done.”
“Odisha in 2036 that’s what our dream is,” Padhi summed up.
