Bhubaneswar: Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal has left for New Delhi on Tuesday, sparking speculation about the possibility of a Cabinet reshuffle.
This is Samal’s second visit to the national capital since his re-election as state party chief.
According to sources, Samal is likely to hold discussions with the BJP high command on various issues, including the party’s organisational setup and potential cabinet reshuffle. The visit comes a day after Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi met with Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati on Monday.
The BJP state president’s visit to Delhi has fuelled speculation about possible changes in the state cabinet and the filling of vacant positions in various boards and corporations. Although no official confirmation has been made, sources suggest that Samal may discuss these matters with senior BJP leaders during his visit.
