Bhubaneswar: The BJP in Odisha has announced the election schedule for the State President and National Council members, following the party’s constitutional provisions that mandate organizational elections every three years.
As per the schedule:
– Provisional Voters’ List Publication: July 6, 11 am
– Investigation of Complaints: July 6, 12 noon to 2 pm
– Final Voters’ List Publication: July 6, 2 pm to 5 pm
– Nomination Filing: July 7, 11 am to 2 pm
– Scrutiny of Nominations: July 7, 2 pm to 3 pm
– Final List Publication and Symbol Allotment: July 7, 4 pm
– Polling (if necessary): July 8, 9 am to 11 am
– Result Declaration: July 8, 11:30 am
Bihar MP Sanjay Jaiswal has been appointed as the central observer to oversee the election process. The BJP’s organizational elections have already been completed at the local, Mandal, and district committee levels, and now the focus shifts to the state and national levels.
