Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday lauded the state’s athletes for their stellar performance at the World Boxing Cup Finals 2025, where they clinched a record 20 medals, including nine gold, six silver, and five bronze.
Taking to social media platform X, CM Majhi praised the boxers for their skill, determination, and fighting spirit. He also acknowledged the tireless efforts of their coaches and the robust support system behind their success.
“My best wishes to all our champions. May they continue to achieve new milestones and make the nation proud,” read the Chief Minister’s post.
The achievement marks a historic moment for Odisha, highlighting the state’s growing prominence in both national and international boxing.
