Cuttack: A bus carrying about 30 Odia migrants from Tamil Nadu’s Kanchipuram reportedly deboarded 15 of them at OMP Square here, today.
As per reports, the stranded migrants started walking towards Jagatsinghpur. The rest of the 15 migrants hail from Kendrapada. The migrants had reportedly self-funded the bus for transportation.
Taking a strict stance against migrants boarding and deboarding bus/train en route, the State Government had asked the returnees to refrain and wait till they have been transferred to a quarantine centre and a Nodal Officer.
