Nabarangpur: As contributions in cash and kind are pouring in from the privileged to support the nation’s fight against coronavirus, a young businessman of Nabarangpur district in Odisha played his part by doing monthly mobile recharge of as many as 100 corona warriors.
Md Sahil of Dandamunda village under Chandahandi block of Nabarangpur expressed his solidarity with those who are on the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19 by doing a monthly recharge of Rs 200 each in the mobile number of 100 such persons of his district.
These corona warriors include health department staff, power sector employees, workers connected with supply and distribution of drinking water, all the journalists and Class-IV employees of Chandahandi block.
While the frontline warriors against COVID-19 have thanked Sahil for his contribution, he has also earned praise from all who came to know about his initiative. Though he has already spent Rs 20,000 towards this cause, Sahil plans to continue his support for the corona warriors.
