Bhubaneswar: The 34th meeting of the Odisha Cabinet was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at the conference hall of Lok Seva Bhawan. The meeting focused on key policy and administrative matters concerning various departments of the state government.
Briefing the media after the meeting, Chief Secretary Anu Garg informed that a total of 11 proposals from eight departments were placed before the Cabinet, and all proposals received approval.
According to the Chief Secretary, the approved proposals included one proposal each from the Industries Department, Home Department, Skill Development and Technical Education Department, Tourism Department, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, and the Revenue Department. In addition, three proposals were presented by the Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department, while the Water Resources Department placed two proposals before the Cabinet.
All the proposals were discussed in detail during the meeting and subsequently approved, Anu Garg said. The decisions are expected to contribute to administrative efficiency and development initiatives across multiple sectors in the state.
Further details of the approved proposals are likely to be shared by the concerned departments in due course.
