Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet on Saturday post facto approved revision of fee structure of the Advocate General for appearance before the High Court, Supreme Court, other Authorities and Tribunals.
According to an official press release, the revision of fee structure was done keeping in view the substantial escalation in the price index and enormous changes in the social and economic conditions.
The last such amendment to the fee structure was made on April 24, 2016.
The revision of fee structure of the Advocate General approved by the Cabinet is as follows:
The Cabinet also approved a proposal for construction of 550 residential quarters (200 Nos. of D type Quarters and 350 Nos. of E type Quarters) with Community Hall and play ground for staff of Orissa High Court, Cuttack at Sector-13, CDA in 10 Acres of land on turnkey basis.
Turnkey tender amounting to Rs 220,40,64,000 has been approved by the Cabinet. The project is targeted for completion within a time span of 30 calendar months.
