Bhubaneswar: The State cabinet has decided to extend the validity of the One Time Settlement Scheme, introduced by the Water Resources Department, till May 31, 2025.
Informing the House regarding the Cabinet decision, chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi said that the scheme aims to collect arrears of water tax from Central/State Public Sector Undertakings, Central/State Government Units/Organizations, and private industrial, commercial, and other establishments.
The extension is expected to provide relief to defaulters, enabling them to settle their pending water tax dues.
