Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited the Shree Jagannath temple in Puri on Saturday night, marking the culmination of his two-day sojourn in the pilgrim town for the BJP’s State Executive Committee Meeting.

The Chief Minister felt blessed to have had the privilege of beholding the sibling deities on the Ratna Singhasan after the Rath Yatra.

During his visit, Majhi offered prayers to the deities, seeking the well-being and prosperity of the people of Odisha. He also expressed his gratitude to various stakeholders, including temple servitors, administration, police officials, voluntary organizations, and the people of Puri, for ensuring a smooth and successful Rath Yatra this year.

Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan accompanied the Chief Minister during the darshan. The visit was notable for the recent opening of the Lord’s Ratna Bhandar (treasure trove) after a gap of several decades.

The CM also interacted with some devotees on the Bada Danda during his visit.
