Odisha CHSE Results: Science Student Who Self-Immolated Fearing Failure Has Secured 50.3%

**Berhampur: ** Even though the apprehensive +2 Science student allegedly committed suicide a day before the Odisha CHSE +2 Science Exams-2018 results were declared, his hard labour has not gone in vain as it has actually borne fruit. He has passed the examinations securing 302 out of total 600. He has secured 50.3% of marks.

A day after his shocking demise, the district got stunned as well as happy to note that the poor boy unnecessarily took the drastic step anticipating one more failure this time.

Fearing the outcome of the results, 19-yr-old +2 Science student Rajesh Kumar Panda allegedly committed suicide on Friday, just a day before the announcement of the results. This incident occurred at Gayatri Nagar under Bada Bazaar police limits in the city here on Thursday evening.

According to reports, he was pursuing his +2 Science at a private college here and had earlier failed twice. This was his third attempt. Apprehending failure this year also, he took the extreme step of self-immolation to end his life just a day before the results are scheduled to be declared. He poured kerosene and set himself on fire.
