**Nayagarh:** Panic and fear gripped the district as a minor boy missing for last seven days was found hanging from a tree near Karadabani school here today morning.
The deceased has been identified as Kanha Nayak of Belabani village who was a Class 10 student.
Kanha had gone missing from the morning of January 12, said his family members. Soon after his body was found today morning, his family lodged a police complaint alleging kidnap and murder.
On intimation, cops reached the spot, recovered the body and started a probe into the matter.
