Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced an ex-gratia of ₹4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the family of a youth who died in a tragic accident in Ganjam district.
The deceased has been identified as Abhimanyu Gowda, a resident of Patrapur tehsil in Ganjam district.
According to a post shared by the Office of the Chief Minister, Odisha on X on Thursday, the Chief Minister expressed deep grief over the untimely death of the youth and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Majhi also announced financial assistance of ₹4 lakh from the CMRF to the next of kin of the deceased as a gesture of support to the family during their time of loss.
The Chief Minister prayed for the peace of the departed soul and extended sympathy to the family members coping with the tragedy.
