**Bhubaneswar:** Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal supremo Naveen Patnaik today appointed Bharadwaj Mishra as the new spokesperson of the party.
It is notable to mention here that Mishra was the former secretary of Odisha’s Aam Aadmi Party unit and he had joined BJD last year in December.
Narendra Kumar Parida and Ajay Kumar Sahoo were also appointed as President and Working President of Biju Janata Dal, Kujanga Block, Jagatsinghpur District respectively.
Naveen Patnaik also appointed new office bearers of BJD Minority Cell today. The State Vice- Presidents are Sheikh Mustafa and Md. Kudrat. State General Secretary is Ahemad Alli and state secretaries are Shoaib Allam, Rama Nayak, SK. Abdulla, and Md. Faizullah Khan. Similarly Jayananda Nayak and Amjad khan have been appointed as Kandhamal and Boudh District Presidents of BJD Minority Cell respectively with immediate effect.
On Sunday, Kasturi Mohapatra and Sulata Deo, the co-advisor and general secretary of Biju Mahila Janata Dal respectively were also appointed as the spokespersons of BJD.
