Odisha CM & BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik Files Nomination For Hinjili Assembly Seat

Hinjili: Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janta Dal (BJD) supremo Naveen Patnaik has filed his nomination papers for the Hinjili Assembly seat where voting will be held on May 20. The Chief Minister has won the Hinjili Assembly seat five times since 2000.

Before filing his nominations, Naveen offered prayers at the Tara Tarini Temple in Ganjam district.

5T Chairman VK Pandian, BJD candidate for the Berhampur Lok Sabha Bhrigu Baxipatra and Odisha Finance Minister Bikram Keshari Arukha accompanied the Chief Minister to the Chhatrapur Sub-Collector’s office where he filed his nomination papers today.

The Chief Minister is scheduled to address public rallies in Khallikote, Kabisuryanagar, Digapahandi and Chhatrapur on May 1. He is also scheduled to visit Bhanjnagar, Polsara, Sankhemundi and Sorda and participate in an election rally there on May 3.

Hours before filing the nomination, the Chief Minister shared a video wherein he wished Pranab Prakash Das, the BJD candidate for the Sambalpur Lok Sabha seat, all the best in this election. Das also filed his nomination for contesting the Sambalpur constituency today.
