Odisha CM Condoles Death Of 18 Kanwariyas In Jharkhand Road Mishap

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi condoled the deaths of 18 Kanwariyas in a tragic road accident at Deoghar, Jharkhand.

Taking to his X handle, he offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, praying for the departed souls’ eternal peace.

The accident occurred near Jamuniya village in Deoghar district during the ongoing Shravani Mela, a period when thousands of devotees travel to offer sacred water at the Baba Baidyanath Dham temple. Ten others were injured in the devastating incident.

Majhi prayed to Mahaprabhu Jagannath and Baba Baidyanath to grant strength to the families of the deceased and bless the injured with a swift and full recovery.
