In his condolence message, the Chief Minister stated that the departed soul was a brave fighter of India’s Freedom Movement. He had the proud opportunity of being closely associated with Mahatma Gandhi and served the motherland. Being a devout Gandhian, he spent his whole life in a simple manner and devoted himself to serving the mankind at Nabarangpur’s Bijapur-based Gandhi Ashram.
He was popular and earned accolades for his dedication to the upliftment of the tribal populace.
The Chief Minister in his condolence message has also mentioned that the nation lost a great servant of the masses as well as true Gandhian and patriot.
