Odisha CM Condoles Union Minister Ananth Kumar’s Demise

**Bhubaneswar:** Rendering heartfelt condolences, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik tweeted today morning that the demise of Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ananth Kumar was untimely.

“Sad to hear the untimely passing away of Union Minister Shri Ananth Kumar. My condolences to the bereaved family and wish they get the strength to cope with such a great loss. May his soul rest in peace,” the CM wrote in his social media handle.

Union Minister Ananth Kumar passed away early today morning at a private hospital in Bengaluru, a party leader said. He was 59.

The Centre announced to fly the National Flag at half mast throughout the country to honour late Union Minister.

Meanwhile, Karnataka government has declared a three-day mourning in the State.
