Odisha CM Congratulates CRUT On Winning UMI Award 2023

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated CRUT (Capital Region Urban Transport) team for winning prestigious UMI (Urban Mobility India) Award 2023.

According to an official press release, CRUT Managing Director Arun Bothra along with senior officials and team members called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at his residence, Naveen Niwas on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Patnaik extended his congratulations to the CRUT team for their remarkable achievement of securing the prestigious UMI (Urban Mobility India) award for the fifth consecutive time.

During the meeting, Bothra presented the Mo Bus memento to the Chief Minister. He also apprised him of the various impactful initiatives that CRUT has undertaken over the years. He shared the ambitious plans that CRUT has charted for the future, aimed at further enhancing the urban transport infrastructure and services within its area of operation.

The Chief Minister appreciated the effort of CRUT in achieving excellence in urban transportation for the people of the region. He asked the CRUT team to work harder in providing safe, affordable and environment friendly mobility solutions for the urban areas of the state.

Chairman 5T (Transformational Initiatives) and Nabin Odisha VK Pandian also met the CRUT Team and congratulated them on winning the UMI Award 2023. Bothra presented him the Mo Bus memento and apprised him about Mo Bus’s future expansion plans and about CRUT’s commitment to continuous progress and excellence in urban transportation for the people in the region.

Bothra was accompanied by Prasanna Kumar Sarangi, General Manager (P &A); Loknath Prasad Mohapatra, General Manager (Engg); Sanjay Kumar Biswal, General Manager (O&M); Jayant Kumar,I/c Manager Operations; and Nivedita Singh Deo, Communication Manager during the visit.
