Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, extended their warmest wishes to the people of Odisha on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti.

Makar Sankranti, a significant festival in Odisha, marks the beginning of the sun’s journey towards the northern hemisphere. The festival is celebrated with great fervour across the state, with people engaging in traditional activities like flying kites, taking holy dips, visiting temples and partaking in Makar Chaula, the sweet delicacy prepared specially on this day.
