Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, and Pravati Parida have extended their heartfelt wishes to devotees on the occasion of Rath Yatra 2025.
CM Majhi warmly welcomed devotees to Puri, urging them to participate in the Rath Yatra with discipline and devotion.
Taking to his X handle, he wrote “Heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all on the sacred occasion of the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, the pride of millions of Odias. I pray at the lotus feet of the Chaturdhamurti for the development of the state and the welfare and progress of all.”
Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo described Rath Yatra as a divine movement of grace and unity, where Lord Jagannath steps down to walk among his devotees.
He offered prayers for peace, strength, and spiritual awakening for all, seeking guidance from Mahaprabhu’s chariot.
He wrote: “Today, as Mahaprabhu Jagannath embarks on His sacred journey from the Shri Mandir to Gundicha Temple, my heart bows in devotion along with millions of faithful across the globe. Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra is not merely a festival—it is a divine movement of grace and unity, where the Lord of the Universe steps down to walk among His devotees. In this sacred procession of **Nandighosha, Taladhwaja**, and **Darpadalana**, we witness the eternal rhythm of dharma, compassion, and cultural splendour that defines the soul of Odisha. As Deputy Chief Minister, and above all, as a humble son of this soil, I offer my prayers at His lotus feet—for peace, strength, and spiritual awakening for all. May Mahaprabhu’s chariot guide every soul toward purpose and liberation. Jai Jagannath.”
Deputy CM Pravati Parida extended heartfelt wishes and congratulations to devotees on the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra.
