**Bhubaneswar: ** Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday felicitated four Odia players who were part of the Hockey India League (HIL) 2017 champion Kalinga Lancers team.
In a special function, organised hera at Jayadev Bhavan, Dipsan Tirkey, Nilam Sanjeep Xess, Anand Lakra and Amit Rohidas were conferred with a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh each.
Congratulating the team and its members, the Chief Minister said, “Kalinga lancers has made us proud. It’s a great moment for all of us and the performance of the team will go a long way in encouraging youngsters of the State.”
Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Sudam Marandi, Minister Debi Prasad Mishra, Sports department Secretary and others were present at the event.
