**Bhubaneswar: ** Odisha Chief Minister on Tuesday inaugurated projects built at an estimated cost of Rs 60 crores in Jajpur district’s Sukinda through video conferencing from the State Secretariat here. While a big bridge at Marthapur and a railway overbridge at Manpur were inaugurated, foundation stones were laid for two road projects.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister stated that development process of Jajpur district is on and in future also such developmental projects will be taken up. The funds spent are of the people of Odisha and the State Government is committed to the development of Odisha.
“Employment and infrastructure development is our priority,” the Chief Minister said.
As per the press note released by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Rs 6.42 crores has been invested in the inaugurated bridge at Marthapur. This bridge will benefit over 25 villages under Danagadi and Rasulpur blocks in Jajpur district.
Manpur-based railway overbridge has been built at an estimated cost of Rs 26.19 crores and the State Government has contributed Rs 17.74 crores from its coffers.
Similarly, Rs 10.50 crores has been the estimated cost for the 10.70 km long upcoming road that would connect Sukinda and Ashokjhar. Another road project that has been estimated at a cost of Rs 15.20 crore is of 16 km long and that would connect NH-53 Bangala Chhak and Hatibadi once it is completed.
