**Bhubaneswar:** Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated SAI International Residential School (SIRS) in the State Capital on Monday. On the occasion, Naveen lauded the efforts of the SAI International in maintaining the tenets of Guru-Sishya tradition. “SIRS has added one more feather to the State’s educational sector,” the Chief Minister added.
School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra said, “It is indeed a proud moment for Odisha to witness a school of such magnitude.” He stressed that schools should go beyond the traditional methods and provide students a wider arena to explore.
Director, British Council India Alan Gemmell OBE spoke on the long and fruitful association of British Council with SAI International for the last one decade. “British Council has been a learning partner of SAI since 2009. We look forward to leverage this partnership with more collaborative engagements both in SAI International School and SAI International Residential School.
Among others, Banki MLA Pravat Tripathy, ED, Central Bank of India BS Shekhawat, President SME, Axis Bank JP Singh, Chairman, SAI International Bijoy Kumar Sahoo, Vice Chairperson Silpi Sahoo and SIRS Headmaster Amitabh Agnihotri were present.
