Bhubaneswar: The Toshali Mela is being held under extraordinary circumstances this year. The fair holds significance in promoting art and artisans of the country and different parts of Odisha, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today.
Inaugurating the 15th edition of the Toshali National Crafts Mela 2021 over video conference, Naveen said that Odisha is the land of art and culture. People of this state can build wonders like the Konark Sun Temple. He advised the visitors to follow the COVID guideline strictly.
Minister of Textile and Handicrafts, Padmini Dian, attended the inauguration event and encouraged the craftsman and weavers who are taking part in the annual event.
Among others, Minister Ashok Panda, MLA Ananta Narayan Jena, Secretary Shubha Sarma and Director Jyoti Prakash Das participated at the inaugural event.
