Odisha CM Majhi Presents Rs 2.65 Lakh Crore Budget for 2024-25 Fiscal; Check Dept-wise Allocation

Bhubaneswar:  Odisha Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mohan Majhi presented the state’s first budget for the financial year 2024-25 in the Odisha Assembly on Thursday. The budget, with total outlay Rs 2,65,000 crore, marks a 15% increase from the previous year’s budgeted estimates of Rs 2,30,000 crore for 2023-24.

The proposed budget for 2024-25 aims to drive growth and development in various sectors, with a focus on inclusive and sustainable development. The increased allocation is expected to boost infrastructure development, social welfare programs, and economic growth in the state.

Subhadra Yojana: Rs 10,000 crore

Mamata and PMMVY: Rs 521 crore

POSHAN Abhiyan: Rs 295 crore

Mission Shakti Programme:  Rs 1,179 crore

Urban Development

Bhubaneswar Metro Rail: Rs 1,000 crore

Urban Water Supply: Rs 357 crore

New City Development: Rs 918 crore

Health

Ayushman Bharat: Rs 500 crore

Gopabandhu Jana Arogya Yojana: Rs 5450 crore

Mukhya Mantri Swasthya Seva Mission: Rs 2462 crore

National Health Mission: Rs 2095 crore

Gopabandhu Mishra Adarsha Prathamika Vidyalaya: Rs 50 crore

Panchasakha Sikhya Setu: Rs 332 crore

Mukhya Mantri Sikhya Puraskar: Rs 139 crore

PM Poshan: Rs 997 crore

Samagra Sikshya: Rs 3791 crore
