Odisha CM Orders Exemplary Action Against Those Found Guilty In Bomikhal Overbridge Collapse Tragedy
**Bhubaneswar: ** Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has ordered a high level inquiry to be carried out by Chief Engineer, Designs and Chief Engineer, Roads on the Bomikhal Overbridge collapse tragedy.
The CM also directed that exemplary action be taken against those found guilty.
The Chief Minister also announced ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the kin of the deceased.
Meanwhile, Deputy Executive Engineer Bansidhar Praharaj and Assistant Engineer Kishore Rout have been placed under suspension.
The treatment cost of the injured will be borne entirely by the Odisha Government.
The Odisha Chief Minister also asked the authorities to clear the debris on a war footing.
The CM visited Capital hospital and AIIMs. THe Chief Minister met the injured and discussed with doctors about the ongoing treatment . At AIIMs the CM met Sheetal Patnaik, the girl who lost her father in the accident and enquired about her health.
The doctor treating her said she was out of danger.
