Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has ordered for initiating the process to fill 4,790 vacancies of constables in the Odisha Police.
The Chief Minister sanctioned these posts in four phases this year. The process to fill these vacancies will start very soon, said an official press release.
These constables will be given appointments in 34 police districts and the Commissionerate Police of the State. This will fill up vacancies of constables in various police stations and districts of the state and enhance the capacity of the police in the maintenance of law and order.
