Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today released “Prachurjyara Elakare Gotia Masa”, a travelogue written by Biswamohan Patnaik at the Lok Seva Bhawan here.
Chief Minister said that this book apart from being attractive to students from schools and colleges it will benefit them.
Sambad editor Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, environmentalist Dilip Srichandan and publisher Jayshree Patnaik were present at the book release function.
This travelogue by Biswamohan Patnaik which is in coffee table book format was adjudged as the best travelogue at the 2014 Book Fair.
Author of the travelogue, Patnaik announced that the book will be distributed to 10,000 schools. It’s English translation “A Month In The Land of Plenty” will be distributed to 2,000 colleges, he added.
Publisher of the book Jayashree Patnaik said that she has gifted these two books after being influenced by the Chief Minister’s “Mo School” programme.
Chief Minister Patnaik also released another book “Stop: Global Warming From Your School” written in English by former legislator and environmentalist Dilip Srichandan.
