Jharsuguda: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to visit Jharsuguda to attend the Shradhanjali Sabha (memorial service) of his former colleague and slain Health Minister Naba Kisore Das at his home on Thursday.
He will attend the funeral of his former cabinet colleague and former health minister Nab Das. Extensive arrangements are being made by the district administration and Biju Janata Dal for the Chief Minister’s visit. Patnaik will reach Jharsuguda at around 12.00 noon tomorrow.
Many ministers of the state Cabinet and many BJD MLAs are expected to participate in the memorial service. Some BJD leaders of Western Odisha have been given the responsibility of coordinating the programme.
