Gajapati: Gracing the auspicious Inauguration of Guru Padmasambhava Statue at Jirang Buddhist monastery today here in the district, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said that the popularlu known Second Buddha belonged to Odisha and played a significant role in transforming the spiritual and cultural landscape across the Himalayan region in 8th century India.
In his keynote address on the occasion, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said, “I’m delighted to be here today to unveil the statue of Guru Padmasambhava. I compliment the Tibetan people here for this great statue that outspreads spirituality, peace and tranquility.”
