Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today conveyed his greetings to the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Snana Purnima (bathing festival).
Taking to his official Twitter handle @Naveen_Odisha, the Chief Minister tweeted in chaste Odia, “Greetings on the occasion of Holy Snana Purnima. May the mercy and blessings of Chaturdha Murti (Holy Trinity & Lord Sudarshan) bestow one and all with happiness and prosperity.”
Notably, sacred Snana Purnima heralds the beginning of the series of rituals of the much-awaited as well as world renowned annual Rath Yatra (car festival) of Lord Jagannath and His siblings.
