Nabarangpur: Since it is the season of snake breeding, a cobra along with 22 hatchlings were rescued from the backyard of a house at Papadahandi here in Nabarangpur district on Wednesday evening.

As per reports, a family member noticed shedded cobra skin in the house and alerted everyone. Later, the villagers with the help of a local snake catcher Bijoy Mohanty rescued the reptiles.

Later, the snakes were then released into a nearby forest.
