Complainant Of Rs 24 Lakh Loot Found To Be Culprit In Odisha’s Rayagada

Rayagada: Employee of a local finance company, who had lodged a complaint of being looted Rs 24 lakh on July 10, was found to be the real culprit. He was found to have lodged a false complaint with the police to swindle away the company money with three other associates.

Unveiling the drama, Rayagada SP Dr. Saravana Vivek M arrested all four and also recovered the ‘loot’ money. A bike was also seized.

The accused, Anil Garadia, worked at a company named CMS. On July 10, Garadia had collected Rs 24 lakh from customers and scheduled to deposit in banks. However, he later filed a complaint at Rayagada Town Police station that the amount was looted from him at FCI Chhak of Rayagada.

However, upon investigation, it was found that Garadia had, in fact, swindled the money along with his three associates.

All four have been forwarded to court, informed Rayagada SP.
