Bhubaneswar: With a mild relief from the ongoing heatwave on Sunday, the State continued to sizzle today. At least 18 places recorded a maximum temperature of 40 degrees or more.
Similarly, five places recorded a maximum temperature of 42 degrees or more today afternoon. The hottest places in the State on Monday were: Sonepur (43.2), Boudh (42.5), Phulbani (42.2), Titilagarh (42), and Talcher (42).
