Bhubaneswar: 141 more persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha. Of these, 31 are local and rest of them are returnees and were housed in quarantine centres.
The total count has moved to 2245, while there are 991 active cases of COVID-19, 1245 recoveries and seven deaths in the State now. The data is as mentioned on the official website of the Odisha Health Department.
On Tuesday (June 2), the highest of 27 cases were detected in Ganjam district, followed by Khurda with 26, Nuapada 19, Kendrapada 13, Jajpur 10, Sundergarh 8, Balangir 7, Cuttack 6, Puri 5, Jagatsinghpur, Gajapati and Keonjhar 4 each, Dhenkanal 2 and Nayagarh, Mayurbhanj and Angul 1 case each.
