Bhubaneswar: 10 more COVID-19 patients have passed away in the last 24 hours in the State, taking the total coronavirus-related death toll in the State to 197.
There are four fatalities Ganjam, two from Khordha and one each from Jajpur, Kalahandi and Sundergarh district. One patient from Bhubaneswar also passed away. The H&FW Department shared the details:

1. A 73-year old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension, Ischemic Heart Disease & Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

The death toll crossed the 100-mark in Ganjam district on Sunday as the toll reached 103. Apart from the southern district, there have been 28 deaths in Khordha, 11 in Cuttack and Gajapati, 10 in Sundargarh, 7 in Rayagada, 3 in Balasore and Nayagarh, two in Angul, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kandhamal, Kendrapada and Malkangiri and one each from Bargarh, Jharsuguda and Sambalpur districts.
In addition to these 10, another COVID-19 patient from Gajapati passed away due to pre-existing comorbid conditions. This toll has risen to 39.
Regret to report the demise of a 65-year old male Covid positive patient of Gajapati district who expired due to end stage Chronic Kidney Disease.
