Earlier in October, the State Government had directed administrations of Puri Srimandir and other major temples under Endowment to prepare a plan of action for reopening while abiding by the existing Covid regulations.
It is worthwhile to mention that Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Chief, Krishan Kumar, on Sunday informed that the 12th-century shrine is likely to re-open for general darshan by devotees from January 3.
