Bhubaneswar: Odisha Discoms, joint ventures of Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, felicitated the winners of the second edition of the widely celebrated photography contest, ‘Oh My Beautiful Odisha 2.0’ at a grand ceremony in Bhubaneswar.
This year’s theme, ‘Cultural Heritage of Odisha’, attracted over 5,000 submissions from photographers across diverse backgrounds. Participants showcased the state’s rich cultural, natural and architectural legacy, with the winning entries featured in the Odisha Discoms 2025 Calendar.
The event was graced by Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, as the Chief Guest. He was joined by Sanjay Banga, President- T&D, Tata Power, the CEOs of Odisha Discoms – Arvind Singh, CEO, TPCODL, Dwijadas Basak, CEO, TPNODL and Amit Garg, CEO, TPSODL along with other senior dignitaries.
Their inspiring words celebrated the winners’ exceptional artistic contributions, which beautifully captured the essence of Odisha. The 13 winners received a cash prize of Rs. 15,000 each, along with an opportunity to feature in the Odisha Discoms 2025 Calendar.
The Odisha Discoms congratulated the winners of the ‘Oh My Beautiful Odisha 2.0’ Photography Contest, which included Abhishek Panda for the cover page, and monthly winners Abinash Tripathy, Sheetal Kumari, Anita Parida, Ajit Padhi, Ruchismita Jena, Saswat Rautaray, Saswat Subhadarshee, Aniket Nandi, Satyakam Parida, Saurabh Pandey, Mihir Kumar Sahoo, and Sambit Kumar Sahoo.
Speaking at the event, Singh Deo said, “Odisha, a state rich in cultural heritage and diversity, is home to breathtaking landscapes and vibrant traditions. I express my heartfelt gratitude to Tata Power for launching this initiative and providing a platform to showcase local talent. It is a wonderful way to highlight the natural beauty of our state.
