Bhubaneswar: Senior IPS officer of 1988 batch Arun Kumar Ray has been posted as the Director, Printing, Stationery and Publication Odisha, Cuttack as the State government today effected a major reshuffle in senior IPS level.
Ray is presently working as OSD (officer on Special duty) of the Home Department.
1989 batch officer A M Prasad, who is Special DGP, HRPC is transferred and posted as DG of Prisons, Director Correctional Services, a notification issued by the Home department stated.
Director of Odisha Government Press Lalit Das, a 1992-batch IPS officer, is transferred and posted as Additional DGP of HRPC.
Similarly, 2008 batch officer Umashankar Dash was posted as DIG, SIW. At present, he is the Additional CP, Commissionerate of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack.
DIG (headquarters) Brijesh Kumar Rai replaced Umashankar Dash as Additional CP, Commissionerate of Police.
