Bhubaneswar: The Phase III of the twin elections in Odisha witnesses a relatively high voter turnout on Saturday. A total of 74.45% of the electorates, barring the postal votes, exercised their franchise in the six Lok Sabha and 42 Assembly constituencies under them on Saturday, the Chief Election Officer (CEO), Odisha, said on Sunday.
While Sambalpur witnessed the highest voter turnout, it was the lowest in Bhubaneswar.
As per the details released by the CEO, Odisha, the voting percentage was 79.5 in Sambalpur, 78.97 in Keonjhar, 78.01 in Dhenkanal, 71.20 in Cuttack, 75.43 in Puri, and 64.49 in Bhubaneswar.
