Bhubaneswar: Odisha has emerged as a frontrunner in child immunisation. According to an UNICEF report, the state has recorded 90.5% child immunisation. The national average in the same report was 76.4%.
The Health and Family Welfare Department Tweeted:
“According to UNICEF India’s global flagship report ‘The State of the World’s Children 2023: For Every Child, Vaccination,’ #Odisha has emerged as the leading State in Child Immunization with 90.5% rate whereas the National rate is 76.4%.”
